Postdoc Position in Theoretical Nuclear Physics

The Department of Physics at Old Dominion University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in theoretical nuclear physics beginning in Fall 2018. The successful applicant will work with one of the members of ODU Nuclear Theory Group (Profs. I. Balitsky, A. V. Radyushkin, R. Schiavilla, J. W. Van Orden), and their colleagues at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility on a program of studies in one of the following areas of theoretical nuclear physics:

The Old Dominion University Experimental Nuclear Physics group is seeking a postdoctoral associate to support our experimental program at the nearby Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab). The group (consisting of professors M. Amaryan, S. Bueltmann, G. Dodge, C. Hyde, S. Kuhn, and L. Weinstein plus 2 postdocs, 8 graduate students and Jefferson Lab affiliates) is one of the largest research groups at Jefferson Lab.

Graduate Instrumentation and Detector School (GRIDS2018)

The Graduate Instrumentation and Detector School (GRIDS2018) sponsored by TRIUMF and the Canadian Particle Astrophysics Research Centre (CPARC) will take place at TRIUMF in Vancouver, Canada from August 6-17, 2018. The school also doubles as the 28th TRIUMF Summer Institute (TSI2018).
