Senior fellow at CERN for the HIE-ISOLDE project for radioprotection and safety

There is a two-year senior fellow position open at CERN for the HIE-ISOLDE project for radioprotection and safety within the framework of the CATHI training network. The work consists in performing activity and dose rate calculations in view of determining the shielding configuaration and access requirements for the HIE-ISOLDE experimental hall. We are looking for either a radioprotection specialist with 4 or 5 years of professional experience since his/her masters level degree or a recent PhD in nuclear physics motivated to learn about radioprotection and safety issues.

Mobility requirement: Candidates must not have carried out their main activity (declared user as more than 50% working time) at CERN for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment.

There is no citizenship requirement.
