UIUC faculty search in theoretical particle/nuclear physics

Faculty search in theoretical particle/nuclear physics at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Areas of interest include nucleon or nuclear structure, lattice gauge theory, hot QCD matter, physics beyond the standard model, dark matter, phenomenology and quantum field theory. We would like to ask for your help in identifying qualified candidates, since our search is broad both with respect to the areas of interest and the level of experience:

1. We are particularly interested in finding well-qualified early career candidates who would be considered for appointment at the Assistant
professor level.
2. We want to make sure that candidates from underrepresented communities are aware of our search and are encouraged to apply.
3. There are ongoing programs at UIUC for bringing highly qualified tenured faculty to the Urbana campus (the President's Distinguished Faculty Recruitment Program and the Grainger Engineering Breakthroughs Initiative) for which we will also consider candidates.

If you know of candidates in any of these categories, we would be very grateful if you could take the time bring this search to their attention. We would also greatly appreciate it, if you would tell us about them.

Finally, we would like to know of "emerging candidates" especially from underrepresented groups, who you think may become qualified faculty-level candidates in the future.
